RVAPaints20 is an art challenge originated by Richmond, Virginia, artist Jowarnise. The challenge is to create 2 paintings per month from February until November in the year 2020 for the purpose of Richmond artists to encourage each other to create regularly and hold each other accountable. These paintings were done with fabric paints or fabric inks on muslin and then framed with a fabric border and quilted. Sizes vary from 16"x16" to 26"x 26".
